About Me
I am just about to graduate after 4 years of University and am now getting ready to take a leap into the unknown. I want to see the world, meet new people, experience different cultures, and push myself to test limits I have never reached before. I have an open mind and love trying new things, whether it be eating something exotic, cliff jumping into water, or living in the bush for two months planting trees for 9 cents/tree.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I have heard Couchsurfing can be a really rewarding experience for both hosts and guests. Being able to stay with people in the area you are traveling in and hearing about their experiences and passions about where they grew up or their own personal journeys is amazing. Couchsurfing has so much more to offer than just simply a place to stay, but also an opportunity to create friendships and share inspiration with others.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I hiked a portion of the Pacific Crest Trail in December starting from the border between Mexico and California. This was one of my first experiences traveling independently from any kind of organization. I went with two friends from Tree Planting and had an unforgettable experience. My favorite part was definitely meeting locals along the way. It's like the big red backpack and dirty clothes are a magnet that draws them to you; they just have to hear your story and share theirs with you. I loved it. They are so passionate towards the trail and the place they have grown up, they just want to share everything with you. What I found surprising was the amount of kindness they showed us, always offering to give a hand whether it be driving us to certain points, or offering a place to stay. It really opened my eyes to the possibilities of traveling worldwide. You aren't going to always run into such open and honest people, but when you do it makes the experience that more special and memorable.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Passion. Joy. Laughter. Gratitude.
I wouldn't say I have any special talents, but I always have a smile and experiences that I would absolutely love to share. People come from all different walks of life and have their own unique back stories, and with each new experience a new story arises.
