About Me

Hey ^^

I am an English Language and Literature student who currently lives in Izmir, Turkey -which is a marvellous sea-side town, pretty much like the place that I was born in, Fethiye, Ölüdeniz. Hence, I am completely in love with any aspect of Mediterranean culture that has shaped and moulded me, yet at the same time I am quite keen on getting to know people regardless of their background.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I would like to travel and meet people, but also host travelers in Izmir who need an instant place to call home for a few days.

Interests

Underwater Rugby, skateboarding, yoga Analog photography, scuba diving (and pretty much any maritime activities), playing tennis, Latin dances, FIFA video games, ukulele, listening to music (mostly indie) and sometimes, cooking.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Once I've paraglided from the top of Babadag (approx. 2km altitude) and landed on Ölüdeniz Beach.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach basic Turkish expressions, instances of Turkish cuisine, and maybe some other Middle Eastern or Mediterranean customs and aspects of life. I can also help the people I meet to widen their musical collection. I also can learn customs, expressions, and many components of cultures that I encounter, and I can share the experiences, insights, and demonstrations that I gradually keep on learning.

What I Can Share with Hosts

In short, a splendid time.
