We are two 18-year-old girls from Finland, Anne and Oona, and currently working as au pairs in Spain. We are very good friends and have a lot in common. We are very openminded and reliable and we enjoy spending time with other people.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

We are currently working as au pairs in Spain. We bought interrail tickets and will start our trip back to Finland in the end of July. During those three weeks we would like to visit France, Italy, Belgium, The Netherlands, Germany and Denmark. We are on couchsurfing because we would like to travel cheap and get to know new people.

Interests

Both of us absolutely love traveling and getting to know new cultures and picking up new languages.
About Anne:
I love doing sports and during my free time I coach 12-year-olds at basketball. I also play piano. I'm very active person and I love trying new things.
About Oona:
I love to meet new people and learn new things. During my free time I like to dance, sing and hang out with friends. I'm also interested in politics and social issues.

Music, Movies, and Books

Anne: My favorite artist is Tyler Hilton and the best book I've read is The Secret History by Donna Tartt.
Oona: My music taste is very wide and depends a lot of the feeling. I listen to everything from soul to reggaeton and from indie pop to salsa. The best movie I've seen is a French drama Blue Is The Warmest Colour. I would love to read more books but at the moment I have so much going on that I don't have time to read much more than school books.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Anne: I spent 10 months in the US through an exchange program. It was a great experience and I would repeat it anytime if I had a change.
Oona: One amazing thing was to travel to Spain this summer. I've learned a new language, seen amazing places and different culture and met beautiful people.

We can share our knowledge of Finnish culture and also share our experiences as au pairs and interrailers.
