About Me

I'm pretty easy going but tend to be abrasive sometimes, I just speak my mind. I love to be active and compete. I'm super competitive but love a good challenge. I love politics and a good argument, as long as we can all admit when the other person has a good point.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I have a friend that used Couchsurfing all over Europe and it was awesome. I love the idea of sharing your city and interests with a perfect stranger. I also think it's a great idea to share our homes, I can't sleep on the couch and in my room at the same time, so why not share the space with someone that is traveling and would rather not spend money on a hotel. If everyone had that mentality then we could all travel, even with limited resources.

Interests

I love anything active and competitive. I love to learn and experience new cultures and people.

I have too many hobbies: I race XC mountain bikes, soccer, martial arts of any kind especially BJJ, any and all things fast, I have motorcycles and used to have fast cars, I could go on but you're bored by now.

Music, Movies, and Books

My favorites change constantly and I don't read as much as I should. My last book I actually READ was 'for whom the bell tolls'. I love all of the Lord of The Rings movies, Legends of the fall, Brick, and the Bale and Nolan batman are among my favorites.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I like to think every day I'm better than I was the day before, so I don't know what the "most amazing" thing I've ever done is. Depending on the point of view it could be amazing or stupid.

Teach, Learn, Share

Not sure what goes here. I would love to find someone that speaks German and wouldn't mind helping me learn. I don't know what I have to teach. Haha

What I Can Share with Hosts

I am not a drinker or a big party person so I can't help much on that scene, but I love music so I know a few out of the way music venues in the area. I am also great with directions and I've lived all over so I know a bit about every part of Houston. I also ride bikes all over so there are some pretty cool little spots to explore.

Countries I’ve Visited

Costa Rica, Malaysia, Portugal, Russian Federation
