About Me

I'm a 23 year old Irish girl travelling around South East Asia. Very interested in economics and development. I love the arts. Probably slightly obsessed with my dog.

I've travelled Europe and I've now turned my sights on the rest of the world. I left my job and decided to go travelling before returning to University. I am just finishing up volunteering in Northern Vietnam and am travelling to Myanmar to explore.

Myanmar is a country that has always fascinated me and I want to know everything about it. So if you are not offering accommodation I'd love to meet for a coffee/a drink and chat. I'd love to hear and learn about your country and make some friends along the way!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To meet and make friends with people across the world. To learn about their culture and hopefully have a bit of craic!

Interests

Cycling, dogs, economics, development. Big reader, and love a good dance/coffee/Guinness or any drink. Places with fairy lights, good movies, old friends and new.

Music, Movies, and Books

Most types of music, particularly anything to dance to. Love festivals and gigs.

Films - will watch anything, big fan of Wong Kar Wei and Richard Linklater, Wes Anderson (anything with nice colours), as well as Lord of the Rings trilogy, and the Godfather I & II.

Books- anything by F Scott Fitzgerald and Murakami. Trying to use my free time while travelling to dig into my ever growing and enormous to read list - at the moment have landed on David Foster Wallace.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Skydiving in Prague probably tops the list, but my eyes are looking downwards in the ocean for my next one.

Motorbiking around the Dong Van Loop.

Teach, Learn, Share

Would love to learn yoga and/or meditation while I travel, But mainly would love to learn anything and everything along the way.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Cupla focail (a few words) of Irish language and culture, hopefully some good chats.

Countries I’ve Visited

Austria, Czech Republic, Denmark, England, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Hungary, Italy, Myanmar, Netherlands Antilles, Portugal, Serbia, Spain, Thailand, United States, Viet Nam

Countries I’ve Lived In
