Hello! My name's Cecilia and I'm currently doing my PhD in France. Most of the time I travel because of work , then I would like to meet more people and make new friends during my free time.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'd like to travel around Europe but in a more convivial way by meeting people and making friends.In fact I like to know the culture of a country from the point of view of the persons.

Interests

Museums (in special paitings and sculptures), music on live and of course: traditional food!

Music, Movies, and Books

Favorite book: War and Peace of L. Tolstoi (who's also my favorite writer).
My favorite mexican writer (so far) is Manuel Payno who did some diplomatic stuff in France :O

In music I'm more likely to listen pop but I love to play old music (valses and ballads).

I'm very bad in movies/celebrities but I prefer no to add more drama to my life.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I consider myself a lucky person in the sense I've could try many things/activities for pleasure (even if I'm a disaster in them). I also love my job and I have met persons who have add things to my life.In brief, I think best have ever happen is not to loose my amazement capability.

Teach, Learn, Share

Since I arrive to Europe people is more willing to speak Spanish or ask/learn about Mexico. I have no problem with that and I'm happy to be able to share my impressions with you. However I would also like to hear about Europe/your country/traditions/history!

What I Can Share with Hosts

I'm a easy-going, talkative person. However I prefer sharing activities (a walk,cooking,playing something; etc.).Even if I haven't done something before I am (most of the time) open to give a try.

If ingredients are available, I can try to cook adapted Mexican food.
