About Me

Mr Richard Anthony Campbell was a gift to the world when his mother gave birth to him on December 13th, 1991. Mr Campbell has been through most of the academic cycles and is currently at the tertiary level, enrolled at the Edna Manley College of the Visual and Performing Arts, School of Dance, perusing a Bachelors of Fine Arts Degree in Performance and Choreography. In his third year of study, Mr Campbell has been an influential global citizen and an advocate for youth development.
He served as the President for the St Andrew Parish Youth Council (2009-2011), Founding Director for the League of Presidents Body (2009), School of Dance Preliminary Year Representative (2010), Past Vice President for the Drewsland Youth Club (2009-2011) and the newly elected Treasurer for the EMCVPA Student council (2015-2016).
Mr Campbell is carving a successful pathway given that he has represented his college and country on numerous occasions both locally and regionally, and soon to be internationally, as he is a candidate for the CIEE Civic Leadership Summit 2015, to be held in Washington D.C.
Mr Campbell is passionate about youth representation and leadership. He believes that youth advocacy has been exacerbated and he will be the panacea for such dilemma.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Hi, I'm Richard Campbell. I'm an international student that is here in the U.S. on a cultural exchange program. We, the students do not study directly here in the U.S. as I said its a cultural exchange so we're here to experience the American culture. We are basically given a job which we must keep until our agreed end date. My end date is August 31st so I will be arriving in New York on the 1st of September. I was placed in North Caroline and I haven't gotten the chance to do much (I've been here since May 17th). So I decided to use JFK Airport to return home; that way I could get to go New York and have some bit of a fun while I can. I'm extremely happy and anxious about my visit, but I just need to find somewhere very cheap to host me for the 4 nights. Thanks much and I hope you can be of great assistance.
