Why I’m on Couchsurfing

My son is a senior in high school and looking at colleges. He is looking at top universities from sea to shining sea. As a homeschool educator, our resources are low, but his dreams are big. In order to visit these schools we need to inventive. Internet research led me to the idea of couch surfing, so is why I am here.

Interests

Self-education. Hiking. Sight-seeing. Historical places. Exploring college campuses. Reading. Meeting people from all over. I never meet a stranger.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I became a widow in 2006. In 2008, I took my 2 young children (10 and 12 years old) and traveled. We spent 2 weeks in Washington, DC + 2 weeks in Williamsburg area of Virginia + 4 weeks exploring parts of Florida + 3 months exploring Colorado. It was GREAT!
