Meeting new people that I am pretty sure I would not have met otherwise. The best part of couchsurfing is learning about sides of the world I never knew existed.

It's so hard to choose from! On the one hand I want to say backpacking around South America or road tripping the beautiful American South West but it's what those trips meant to me and what they symbolized in my life that made them so amazing. They represent those turning points where difficult, risky choices were made, but which I feel made me grow hugely as a person.
