About Me

Hey there! i come from Bandung, capital city of west Java island, indonesia. Currently i'm living in Gross-Zimmern, a municipality in the district of Damrstadt-Dieburg, roughly 40 km to the south of Frankfurt/Main
I speak fluent german and english well. I deepened the german culture well, since Germany has become like my second country home town after Indonesia.

At first glance people may notice that i am not a talkative person and not quiet much of a good story teller. I tend to listen carefully what other people share about their opinion, culture, and their life. It usually takes a while for me to feel more relaxed and secure about the new friendship with new people. However, i enjoy a balanced conversation!

I am an open-minded and friendly person. I like to grow a new friendship with people from different culture and background. I believe that every friendship is different and not every point will apply to every type equally.

As a hobby I like to play piano during break time. Music and playing piano have become part of my life since the last 20 years. Playing piano relaxes me much and keeps my finger dexterous.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Couchsurfing is about having a cultural exchange during my trip, that is simply not only taking pretty pictures and enjoying the nature. It is often more culturally interesting than hostels/hotels. I can learn to be a compassionate host.

Music, Movies, and Books

Book
Kafka on the Shore (Haruki Murakami) - (One of my favorite books, which i do like best)
-“In everybody’s life there’s a point of no return. And in a very few cases, a point where you can’t go forward anymore. And when we reach that point, all we can do is quietly accept the fact. That’s how we survive.” (Haruki Murakami)

->I like different types of genres of music. (Classical, Jazz, Pop-Rock, R&B)

Teach, Learn, Share

Indonesian food: culinary and culture, since cooking is my favorite thing as well
Music : I like to share the idea, skill, and my favorite music with people who love to play or enjoy music.

What I Can Share with Hosts

More than just nice foods I can cook or serve or nice coffee or tea I'd like to drink, but also life experiences that makes me what I am today.

As we all know the diversity of people across the globe the the most beuatiful thing, so I want to share by respecting and appreciating those differences.

Time is one of precious things we have during trip. So let us spend some times together to discover new things (movies, songs, or maybe place we are currently visiting)

I always offer to split shared costs, the costs of foods, transportation, etc.
