I'm taking some time to wander with my eyes open for the month of September. I've never done anything like this before but I've decided to stop limiting myself and I want to be brave! Sadly, 2 months ago, my Father passed away suddenly from an aggressive battle with cancer. I'm looking to process losing my Dad, whom I was very close to, with some soul searching.

I love all things nature. DOGS! My passion for floral design has recently branched into interest in varied works of interior and architectural design as well. I'm really passionate about food. Making it, admiring it and of course...eating it!

Musica, film e libri

I have an eclectic style. Current playlists include: Andrew Bird, First Aid Kit, and The Dead Weather. I just finished a beautiful and inspiring book called The Signature of All Things.It was in many ways, about a female botanist finding herself in this big wide world. Movies...old, new and in between! I love getting lost in a film. The Diving Bell and The Butterfly is a favorite of mine.

About 7 years ago, I spent a summer in Israel. I crawled thru ancient underground tunnels, slept beneath the desert sky and ate more felafel then I ever knew I could! I learned a lot about the struggles of traveling with a large group though, a profound learning lesson.

Growing up in the kitchen with my dad has granted me with a deep respect for food. I love sharing my knowledge of cooking and experimenting with flavor combinations in the kitchen or amongst friends around the dinner table. I want to acquire as much knowledge and understanding as I can..always. My insatiable hunger for life has me longing for new opportunities and experiences.
