I hate writing about myself, but here it goes :) I've just finished my college course and I really want to experience the world and see what it has to offer before I settle down for university (mental health nursing). There's something magical about going somewhere new by yourself, putting your headphones on and just letting go.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

As much as I want to see the world, I don't want to be visiting the tourist attractions all the time. I want to get lost, see the real culture and meet the locals. I've also done a fair bit of couch surfing due to my previous living situation, so it feels pretty natural to me :)

Interests

Listening to music and finding new artists to listen too, drawing, reading, playing the guitar (badly) :) , learning to play the ukulele and keyboard, making memories, cracking out terrible jokes... No seriously I'm the only person who finds myself funny. :)
I also really like gaming and watching anime/Korean films.

Music, Movies, and Books

I pretty much love all types of music, so we're talking from Metallica to whatever's in the charts as your reading this. I'm also really getting into what I call my 'travelling jams' which can include Ben Howard, artist like flume, Jen bellion, imagine dragons, 5 seconds of summer etc.
I LOVE MOVIES, I love all types but my favourites would be any fantasy film, I love Lord of the rings and a few 80's hits like labyrinth and the breakfast club. Don't even get me started on Heath ledger in 10 things I hate about you. :)
Books are the same for me, I really love a good fantasy/supernatural/sci-fi book; it gets bonus points if there is some kind of romance in it to :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Went on airplane for the first time and didn't cry.... I'm just kidding. ... Kind of.

But seriously, it would probably be changing the standard of care expected for children in care (social services). I've done a lot of volunteering, training, speeches, presentations etc. I don't mean to toot my own horn. But I'm pretty proud of myself.
