I'm an easy going, relaxed and fun to be around person. My husband and I enjoy meeting new friends and sharing our space with others when they are in the area. It's all about the timing really, as we are both busy sometimes. Summers are the easiest to host for us, since I'm a teacher and have my summers free. My husband Chris is a nurse, and works long hours a few days each week. We have one dog, named Kane who just turned 2 in March of 2017. Our home is a great place to escape to when you just need a break!!!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

We enjoy meeting new people when they are passing through the area, or get stuck at Atlanta-Hartsfield airport!! Also, we travel to various ports for cruises, and it's nice to share experiences with others, and not waste money on impersonal hotel stays!! We both enjoy meeting people, gaining new friends, and enhancing our lives with personal connections.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've traveled a lot, and done a lot. That is amazing to me. I've been fortunate in my life previously, and even more so now that I'm a teacher and am able to share my experiences with my class, and help mold them into a generation that can be the positive change they want to see in the world!!
