Easy going, PhD Student. I am carrying a research on socio legal stuff. I also translate some academic journals into spanish. The rest of the time trying to spend my time riding a bike, taking photos, reading and, of course, partying when the mood is right.

Intereses

I spend a lot of time thinking about penological, criminological and sociological stuff, don't worry I do not bother people with that, well only when I have to give a conference (sounds fancier than what it is in reality).

I also spend the rest of my time thinking in good jokes, ways to explore Scotland (this basically means trying to find new routes to explore... forth and clyde canal...), looking for data to find nice bars in Glasgow, and how to take photos under the lovely rainy weather.

Música, películas y libros

Books: My only rule is that I do not read to feel more enlightened but rather for the pleasure of reading a good book. Although, that dont mean that I like to read easy best sellers. Not that I judge anyone who like them.

My guilty pleasure is the noir novels, of Dashiell Hammett and Raymond Chandler to James Ellroy and Roberto Bolaño. Although I like a lot of "contemporary" writers from Borges, Cortazar, Kerouac, Bukowski to McCarthy, Vonnegut or Emmanuel Carrere or Javier Marias.

Regarding music I have a very wide taste. From Classical music, like the Baroque musicians (Handel, Albinoni, Bach) or italian romantic opera (Puccini, Mascagni) to Black metal (Ulver, Gorgoroth) or progressive bands (Tool, Steven Wilson) to Pop dancing music (Calvin Harris) and everything in between. I love to try new bands and new genres, although I hate hip hop.

Movies... I like movies... I used to love Terry Gilliam movies...
