I'm a PhD student at home and love travelling on a budget. The idea of wandering the streets of a new city in search of interesting (and inexpensive) things to do is thrilling to me. I'd much rather travel light for the time being and leave the luxuries until later in life.

Music, Movies, and Books

My favourite type of music tends to be independent but really runs the gamut from there: country, rock, metal, psychedelic... One of my current favourite movies is Whiplash, and I currently read a lot of short stories, as I don't always have the time for novels, and some of my current favourites are from H.P. Lovecraft.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've recently completed and Ironman race... kind of stretching the definition of "amazing" with that though.
