My name is Niki, I am a 29-year-old girl from the Czech Republic. Grew up in a small city but lived 8 years in Prague. I recently decided to quit my job, leave my apartment in Prague and travel to New Zealand for a long-term adventure. Because I believe that experience is the most important thing in our lives and we only live once, so we need to fulfill our dreams.

About myself, I would say that I am a very friendly type of person, absolutely without conflicts, I like to meet new places, and new people because every person always has an interesting personal story. I never spoil a joke and I like to laugh, often over a glass of good white wine with good people :)

I am on Couchsurfing because I used this platform to meet new people some years ago, and I always had luck with the best people.

Now I think this platform is a great opportunity to meet new people again, discover New Zealand with the locals, and make some new friends here.

Interessen

I do not have many hobbies, but my hobbies are definitely traveling, which makes me happy and spending quality time with my friends. I like some sports (especially running and swimming - the fun fact - I am also ex lifeguard, but still not Michael Phelps :D And I like board games.

And I like good music and my passion is dancing in front of a mirror :)

Musik, Filme und Bücher

My favorite films are definitively Christmas films: Home Alone 1 and 2, The Holiday, and Harry Potter as well. But I also love to watch some series such as Game of Thrones, and Emily in Paris and my guilty pleasure is reality shows.

When I am reading, I prefer self-improvement books, I think that The Four Agreements are must-have for everyone.

Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe

One great thing I did was when I decided at my 23 to go on Work & Travel to USA to work as a lifeguard. It was an unforgettable experience for me, it helped me become independent, have the best summer of my life, and meet a lot of amazing people of course it awakened my passion for travel.
