Based in London. Doing media studies. I get to enjoy the rainy weather for most of the year. However, I sometimes get to travel too and enjoy the beauty of the world. I have been all over Europe whilst doing orienteering sport and being part of the national team of Latvia. Now i just simply enjoy active tourism: hiking, art, culture.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Firstly and most importantly it enables one to travel the world. But secondly, couchserfing connects people and creates stories, adventures, experiences worth remembering.
I actually just re-joined couchurfing. I used to use the platform often but then after moving to England for studies I was unable to travel much, neither host anyone. I admire the nature of this platform, its inspiring and liberating, the idea of doing things out of kindness and accepting other travellers and explores into your own space.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Im humble. I have actually challenged myself in many sports disciplines. Mediation probably is one of the most amazing things Ive ever done. But I think I will not be able to say Iev done something truly amazing until I feel I have made a difference for other. This is yet to achieve.
