I'm an environmental lawyer, living in the middle of San Francisco. I love playing folk music, running and exercising in various forms, reading poetry, hiking very long distances, and telling my stories. I also LOVE cooking, baking, and giving tours of my favorite secret places in San Francisco.

I want to meet new people and pay forward all the kindness I've encountered while traveling. I have traveled to several different countries now, including South Korea, France, Mexico, Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, and Mongolia. In each of these places, I loved the authentic experiences that couchsurfing provided.

If you stay with me, you may be subjected to my old-time country compilations, folk music, and rock and roll. As for movies, I love David Lynch, Larry Clark, and Lars von Trier. I try to read a bit every day...my favorite writers are Gabriel Garcia Marquez, James Salter, Raymond Carver, Lorrie Moore, Joseph Campbell, Phillip Levine, and William Matthews.

Algo increíble que he hecho

A couple years ago, I hiked about one hundred miles through Mongolia to the Russian border. It was one of the most remote hikes I've ever done, and one of the coldest!
