Overview
About Me
Hi there!
I am a recent grad from University of Victoria with a double major in Anthropology and Environmental Studies. I am passionate about environmental education and ecological restoration. While growing up I've lived in many parts of Canada, including Cambridge in Ontario and Langley, the Kootneys, the Okanagan, and Victoria in BC. My experience of spending most of my time outside likely inspired my love of nature and fostered my interest of working outdoors with people. I want to spend my life with people and plants!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I have always loved traveling and for me, the best part is always the people that have met along the way. I have been a non-official couch surfing host for over a year through my roommates' profiles and I have absolutely loved meeting new people from around the world, sharing our cultures, and helping travellers explore the city while providing a welcoming and comfortable place to stay.
I also hope to do more of my own travelling in the future and I know couch surfing is the best and only way that I would like to explore many new places!
Interests
My interests including cycling (everywhere!), wandering the ocean coast of the Haro Straight, singing in a choir, drinking and trying new craft beers, afternoons of tea and letter-writing, playing my ukulele and piano, learning new ways of gardening and enjoying frequent trips to the local library.
