Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I've always disliked the idea of travelling to other countries and visiting new places without interacting with the locals, just passing them by as if they were part of the background. I believe a city is best appreciated through the eyes of someone who lives there. This is the reason why I joined CS: to meet interesting people who want to share what they know about the city they live in.

Music, Movies, and Books

I have a very eclectic taste in music: anything ranging from 60's rock to electronic music. I have a soft spot for 90's house music :-)

Favourite movies include: The Green Mile, The Shawshank Redemption, Some Like It Hot, Pulp Fiction, Kill Bill, Django Unchained, Bullhead, The Broken Circle Breakdown, ...

Favourite books: probably Stieg Larsson's Millennium trilogy.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

On an impulse, I hopped on a bus to visit my best friend who was in Vienna at the time. Her smile at the bus station was well worth the 14-hour journey :-)

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm a teacher, so I'll jump at any opportunity to learn more about the languages I already know but also to learn new ones.

I'm also very curious, so don't hesitate to share anything you want to, I'll be more than happy to listen to you and learn from you!
