Overview
About Me
I'm a 20 years old French student from Poitiers, in Poitou-Charentes.
I study sociology and anthropology, and for my third year I am in Ireland as an Erasmus at the University of Maynooth.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I've never tried Couchsurfing but I really would like, I've been in collocation for three years in France and I can't live in an accomodation alone, I have a large family and so I've always grown up with others.
It is always a pleasure to meet people from different cultures, what they bring, make us think about our own culture and way of life.
Interests
I'm really interested in what I study at the university, sociology and anthropology, mostly with the qualitative part of the studies. I like met people and understand why there is so much inequalities through the world and why they continue to be there. With the anthropology I like discover others alternatives for societies, others ways of life completely different from ours.
I'm also passionate by all kind of dances, particularly modern/contemporary dance. Dance is the other side of my studies, I practise every day since I'm a child and I like to discover others dances, hip-hop, voguing, ballet, jazz, flamenco, claquettes...

Music, Movies, and Books
I like all kinf of musics, I can listen almost every types of music. I like classical music, (particularly Bach and Vivaldi), world music (Lhasa, Manu Chao, Buena Vista Social Club), national artists in France (Arthur H, Dionysos, Ibeyi), rock music (Muse, Patti Smith, Queen, Cat Stevens...).
My favourite film makers are Pedro Almodovar, Tim Burton, Cedric Klapish, Xavier Dolan.
I don't like the Hollywood blockbusters, I prefer Art house movies and documentaries.
I read mostly French writters and I can list some writters: Amelie Nothomb, Houellebeq, John Irving, Stieg Larsson...and obviously J.K. Rowling
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I've been in Edinburgh for the Fringe Festival and made a dance performance in the street with two friends, with an association fighting against women's rapes !
That's the most amazing thing I've done...
Teach, Learn, Share
I would like to be a dance teacher, give the taste of dancing to everyone, to me teaching means more "pass with passion" than "relay some innformations", you can't learn without interest, even at school for example.
Share is one of the most important thing for growing up, I've already said that I can't live alone, always need to SHARE, moments, experiences, even food !
What I Can Share with Hosts
Every parts of my culture, a little bit of French, but also just a coffee or a french recipe, or a tour in the city !
Countries I’ve Visited
Italy, Scotland, Spain, Switzerland, United Kingdom
