I deal with code and servers during the day and spend the rest of it with my family, walking with dogs, sunbathing in garden or playing racket sports.

Still believer of some greater power out there - not yet aware of it's form but the more you see of the world the more you feel it.

Edgar Allan Poe ans Stephen King made my a book reader. It is almost incredible how the vivid and thrilling stories posses you.

Music wise my wife says that I enjoy everything from A to Z - Latvian lullabies and folk music, Enya, Gorillaz, Skrillex, Jack U, Metallica, Massive Attack - to name some.

Movies is somewhat rare phenomena in our home since we limit ourselves to one great movie a week.

- Quentin Tarantino - a keen fan of Pulp Fiction, Kill Bill, Inglorious Bastards, Django. There is a silver-lining humour if you concentrate respectively, otherwise they are non-stop action movies.

- Matrix Trilogy - I guess the storyline/ideas has a very deep and existential backbone.

- The Imitation Game, The Theory of Everything, Transcendence, The Signal - just like to watch tech-related movies, have this feeling of learning.

Used to live in Australia some years ago and went to Cairns, Queensland. Have you seen Cast Away, The Beach or Bounty commercial? If I have to name a paradise on this planet then Cairns would be the one - fruits of all kind, water as warm as the one I bath in, small bungalows and Flying Foxes hanging down from the palm trees. Yes, felt like a monkey when climbing up one to fetch a coconut. It was so delicious that I decided to get more of them and loaded my minivans trunk full and had some hard times opening them afterwards with a blunt knife and scissors.

I would like to expand by saying that a great experience and fun is achieved if we all share the best we can give. A great talk-to person, can take you on a tour to visit the best spots in Riga and Latvia, provide you with near centre yet beautiful and quit apartment with a nice garden, fireplace and great cuisine (my wife is a great chef).
