Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Couchsurfing is very intriguing to me. I love the idea of staying with local people who are able to share with you their knowledge of the area. What better way to experience a new place than with someone who knows all the cool local spots and neat details about their surroundings.

Interests

Being from the Pacific Northwest I am bound to love anything involving being outside.

I decided I am going to travel to as many places as I possibly can before I die, which isn't anytime soon.

I want to experience what other cultures and countries have to offer. I believe that experiences are worth far more value than any item money can buy you. I would much rather spend my money on seeing the world than buying things that eventually won't matter as much anymore.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love all kinds of music.

I grew up in the country so we listened to that quite often growing up. As I got older though I started listing to more hip-hop and pop. Along with alternative music and really anything that has some quality to it.

Love listening to new artists and branching out so feel free to let me know what your favorite is. I would love to hear it.

Movies, movies, movies. I love all kinds of movies, I could spend all day laying in bed watching Netflix.

I love a good romantic movie with a happy ending or anything Nicolas Sparks :)

Love comedy just as much though, a good laugh is always appreciated.

I also enjoy documentaries, especially ones that have to do with history or the earth. I find both subjects to be fascinating and can never learn enough about either.

Teach, Learn, Share

I think those who open their house to strangers and share a little bit of themselves with these people are completely awesome. I hope that through this site people are able to make connections with others throughout the world.

I am constantly learning about myself, others and the world around me. I hope that through this experience I will be able to create memories that will last me a lifetime. I want to be able to look back on my life and really appreciate all the places I plan on seeing.
