I love vintage stuff 1940's - 1960's, because they kept it classy & had style. I have a passion for learning and strive to be a life long learner. Germany is the best place to be for Christmas with the Weihnachtsmarkt and general Christmas spirit in the air. I would do just about anything for my family and friends as long as it's legal, moral, and ethical.

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

Well, the truth is, I heard about couch surfing a few years ago on a news program. I thought it was a cool idea and never really thought about it after that, until now that is. My friend set up a place for us to stay for this conference we went to and they decided to leave town so our plans fell through. We needed a place to stay so we didn't have to sleep in my car or something. Thankfully, we had a gracious host come to our rescue! :) This being my first time doing this, I totally recommend it! I had an awesome experience! :)

I like anything creative: arts, crafts, singing, dancing, music, writing, acting, cooking, science. I love a good adventure. I love standing up for what I believe in. I love learning. I am brave and willing to face my fears. Couchsurfing is me putting my trust that there are still good people in the world. My family thinks I'm crazy, but you have to be a little crazy if you are chasing your dreams you never before thought were possible. Anyone telling me that I can't do it just gives me fuel to prove to them that I can and they can sit back and watch me. Helen Keller said, "Life is a daring adventure or it is nothing." I don't know about you, but I love adventures and meeting new people!

Movies: The classics, chick flicks/romantic comedies
Music: Anything uplifting. I like to check the lyrics before I listen to the song because I like to know what I am putting into my head.

I won an art contest when I was a kid.

I was on the honor roll and Dean's list. I got my first 4.0 in one semester in college for taking classes that weren't even related to my major.

I lived in Germany for a year and a half.

I visited my friend in England for a week.

I have had a lot of hard learning experiences that have taught me how to have empathy for people who go through or have gone through similar experiences. I believe that kind people are kind because they know what it was like when people weren't being kind to them and they don't want others to have to experience that.
