About Me
🇺🇸 Hi everyone!
My name is Durval, I’m 38 years old and I’ve been a Portuguese teacher for foreigners for over 14 years. I’m originally from Porto Velho, Rondônia (Brazil), and I’m currently living in Tarija, Bolivia, where I’m in my fifth year of medical school.
I left home when I was 20 and since then I’ve had the chance to explore Europe, Asia, and almost every country in South America. Traveling has taught me a lot about different cultures and also about myself , and that’s one of the main reasons I’m here on Couchsurfing.
I love sports (especially running, Jiu-Jitsu, and yoga), going to the gym, reading, cooking, and learning new things every day. I’m an open-minded person who enjoys good conversations, sharing experiences, and connecting with kind and curious people from around the world.
I joined Couchsurfing to meet nice people, learn from others, share stories, and maybe teach a bit of my language and culture too.
If we meet, we can go out to eat or cook something together , I really enjoy cooking.
I also like having long talks, going for a walk, grabbing a beer or a coffee, or even going out dancing once in a while.
Looking forward to meeting amazing people and creating good memories , that’s what traveling is all about!

🇧🇷 Oi, pessoal!
