Currently I am living in France and working as a language assistent, and my free time I want to fill with travelling so that I can really take advantage of this little gap year and collect as many experiences as possible.
As soon as I return home to Austria, I will continue to study French and German to become a teacher, hopefully a good one :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love travelling, but as a poor student I cannot really afford it and I totally understand people in the same situation. Also I think couchsurfing is a great idea not only to get to know another country or city but to actually get to know the people who live there - and who make it the way it is!

Interests

Languages - the most interesting topic for me :) are we who we are because of the language we are speaking? does it change our personality when we learn a new one? how does it influence a friendship when two people don't have the same mothertongue? so many questions and I am waiting for life to give me some answers!

Travelling - the world is amazing and life is too short to appreciate all of it

the thing I learned while teaching in France: you always end up being taught something about yourself, life, anything
learning is a process that you can accomplish together - that is why no teacher should ever feel like they know everything and the student knows nothing, teaching and learning go in one hand, you cannot do the one thing without the other
