1. Crossing Indian Ocean by research vessel from Singapore to Cape Town in 2014. The distance taken was ~10207.8 km in 3 weeks.
2. Sailed along Great Barrier Reef, Australia (2014).
3. Being in Sierra Leone (the world's most Ebola-affected country), during its peak in 2014.
