I teach Spanish Language & Literature in a high school near Granada, where I was born and now I´m living. But my real passions are writing and translating poetry, travelling through Spain and Europe, arranging different artistic projects (including music) and performing live with another poets and artists. This is life, true life!

I consider myself an open-minded person, full of curiosity and always ready for fun.

Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing

I want to try Coachsurfing because I live alone now (with my cat Kaiser), in a little but good flat with two confortable bedrooms and a coach, and some days I would have no problem about hosting cool people from all the world. I live in one of the most beautiful cities in the world, Granada; it would be nice to show it to my guests, sharing experiences and good wine!

I also need to improve my English: I can read properly all kind of texts, but unfortunately I have no choice to practise conversation right now.

Algo increíble que he hecho

I´ve published a Spanish translation of poems by Emily Dickinson and Jorie Graham. I worked with mrs. Graham on it and met her in Madrid, a dream come true for me, she´s one of the greatest poets alive!

Qué puedo ofrecer a los anfitriones

Good conversation, some wine (red or white, hahaha), many shelves with lots of books of art, poetry and literature. Superb 80´s music. A really funny cat.

Of course if you want to learn Spanish for free, it is my job... I´m your man!
