Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Travelling is one of my favourite things to do in this world but any trip is complete without getting deeply in touch with the local people and its culture. Being a Couchsurfer is the easiest and cheapest way to do so!

Interests

I am really passionate about learning new languages. Since I was born in a bilingual country, speaking different languages is something natural to me.
I enjoy trying to pick up some words in the local language wherever I travel!

Music, Movies, and Books

Reading is my biggest passion, I would always carry a book in my bag when I commuted to college by train everyday. Lately I've been reading Wild by Cheryl Strayed and I swear it is an amazing book. However, my favourite book ever is Tuesdays with Morrie, a heart-touching book about life, love and death that I strongly recommend to everyone. In addition, Océano África is also an incredible book that could only increase my will to visit that continent.

I like watching films as well. My favorite ones are those based on real stories like Into the Wild, The Last King of Scotland and Intochables, but I enjoy other kinds of films too, such as Forrest Gump, Amelie, Captain Fantastic, Before Sunset and Dead Poets Society among many others.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I spent a night in a kraal with the nomadic shepherds in Karamoja, a remote area at the northeast of Uganda.

What I Can Share with Hosts

If you host me, I can help you learn some of the languages I speak. I'm also willing to introduce you to my culture and traditions, and I can even cook something Catalan if you desire!
