Overview
About Me
Currently I don't live in Italy anymore. I live in a small city in Finland called Kouvola as part of the exchange programme.
CURRENT MISSION
Move to a more well-known city so that I can meet new people more often.
Visit all the places mentioned in Dan Brown's novels (has finished the Path of Illumination in Roma and Cerca Trova in Firenze).
Read all the books I have borrowed!
Taste coffee around the world.
ABOUT ME
I'm Minh, from Vietnam. Currently I study in Kouvola, Finland. You are what you read, thus if you wanna know about me: www.goodreads.com/user/show/63127242-minh-tran
PHILOSOPHY
There's no such thing as a shortcut.
HOW TO GET TO MY HOUSE FROM NAPOLI (NAPLES).
I put this in 'My Home' section, but as so many guests missed the bus, I had to copy it here!
You catch a train (http://www.trenitalia.com/tcom-en) to Nocera Inferiore, which takes you around 1 hour.
From Nocera Inferiore, you have to walk for 10 minutes (or 20 mins if you have heavy luggages) to a bar called Garden Bar.
From there you catch a bus (SITA bus) to get to Pietre. Ask the driver if the bus goes to Pietre. The bus stop is in front of the bar, and you can buy bus tickets at the bar as well. Below is the bus schedule. PLEASE CHECK IT CAREFULLY. Many guests missed the last bus.

When you are in Pietre, wait for me at a bar called Pit Stop (it's also in front of the bus stop, but you can ask the local if you get off at the wrong bus stop). Then call me. I prefer you call me using a network carrier service rather than Whatsapp, as maybe I don't have the Internet connection at the time you call). This is my number +358 465966235.
I put my phone number at the end just to make sure you read my profile carefully. 'Copy and paste' is not a problem, but please have some ideas to whom you're sending requests.
Also, from Mon to Sat, I won't be at home until 17.45. And on Mon, Wed, and Fri, I go to the gym from 19.15. Please make your plan carefully.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I love traveling , I want to exchange travel experiences and cultures, and I want to hear city secrets from hosts. Yet, all the hosts who let me stayed with them were so so nice that I felt really sad when I left and I always told myself I'd never use Couchsurfing again :(
What's more, I'm addicted to coffee, I usually drink up to 8 or 10 cups of espresso in some occasions. I wanna know how people around the work make coffee, how to serve it, and how to enjoy it.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Hosted as many as 4 people at a time at my apartment despite that it was forbidden. Ended up paying €120 for a hotel for them plus €200 penalty! They were really nice guests, though!
Teach, Learn, Share
Share: Asian culture and cuisine. I can also make you some chicken tikka masala which I learnt during my stay in India.
Learn: all you can teach. No really!
What I Can Share with Hosts
Vietnamese dishes 'chả giò', 'bánh xèo', coffee 'cà phê sữa đá'. Indian chicken tikka masala and pork neck slow cook. Check my photos! I'll bring some chopsticks and show you how to use them.
