Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am studying abroad in Bristol, United Kingdom, and my girlfriend is doing the same in Nottingham. We have some friends who experienced CouchSurfing and told us we would love it as well. So, meeting new people and saving money - seems like the perfect combination.

Interests

I am a person who loves a good conversation and enjoys good music. I have a very broad interest in music, and goes from Brazilian popular music (MPB) to Alternative Rock; Reggae to Rap; Jazz and Classic. However, I still have some issues with most eletronic music - not all of them.

In Brazil I am finishing a degree in International Relations, but my interests are more related to History - even though what I am actually learning is hot to cook (a slow progress, I confess).

I really love visiting historic places, they make me live history in my head. In

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: At the moment I am really into some sort of music kind of hard to label. You can call it Alternative Rock maybe, or just search for "Francisco, El Hombre" and check for yourself. Also, some kind of instrumental jazz with some African beats in a band call "Bixiga 70".
