I am a man who decided to go travelling for a longer time to experience more cultures and meet new people. I started travelling the 26th of October 2016 from my home country(the Netherlands) to Australia. I did my one year working holiday over there. I travelled and worked a lot over there at the east coast of the country.
Also I did my 30 days farmwork in this year so I could get my second Working holiday visa for Australia. In September 2016 I came back to work in the Netherlands and be reunited with my family again. I am now planning to go to New Zealand for a month or two. And after that I will go to Australia to do my second working holiday year over there. I have the intention of emigrating to Australia.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am on couchsurfing because I like to travel and meet new people. I love the idea of learning from each other and helping each other out to have a good experience in a unknown country or city.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: I love a lot of genre's and kinds of music. And in every mood I listen different styles of music. But the music I listen most of the time is a mix of indie, rock, pop, dance, and top 40(charts).

Favorite movies: I like movies with a good storyline, or good action, or good humor. Or even better: all together. My favorite movies are for example: Inception and Intouchables.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

For me personally was travelling the east coast of Australia one of the journey's I will never forget. Surfing during sunrise, Snorkeling in the Great barrier reef, 4 wheel drive crossing over Fraser island, seeing beautiful waterfalls in Queensland state, wild water rafting over the Tully river, kayakking and seeing whales around Fitzroy island... and many more.
