About Me
Hey there! I'm an 18 years old curious and openminded boy. I finished HS one year ago and I'm in college studying natural science.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I traveled a lot while I was young for karate tournament, and I haven't really gone anywhere since I've stopped 2 years ago. I really miss it and I plan to get back to it soon, and CS seems like a really nice place to meet nice host and amazing people. I had a couchsurfing experience in Germany already and I really liked it. I can't wait to see the world. I'm actually living in an appartment with 2 housemates and I can't really host anyone, but I plan to do as soon as I live somewhere where I could.
Interests
I really like all kind of gaming. I'm a huge fan of board games and I enjoy video games a lot. I really like reading even thought I don't really do it enough since I'm moved out from my parents.
I really like history and it's one of the two things that makes me love travelling. History has fascinated me since I was a little boy and I think travelling is really good way to live it. Seeing and hearing locals version of history is always much better then any class I will ever have.
I also love philosophy, economics, physics ,maths and I enjoy talking and arguing about any of those subject for hours.
The other thing I really like in travelling is meeting new people. During all my trips in Europe for karate tournament, I've met a lot of nice and interesting people and my greatest memories come from the moment I had with those people.

Music, Movies, and Books
I really like anticipation and symbolism. I really really like Aldous Huxley, Asimov, Camus, Sénécal and I really like to try different kinds of read. Lately I tried 1Q84 and I really enjoyed it.
I love a really large range of music, classics like Manu Chao, The Strokes, Gorillaz or kitch music like Cut Copy, Empire of the Sun or Crystal Castles. I also really enjoy smooth musical rap like Oddissee or Kanye West.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I've done karate for 12 years, got to Black Belt Second Degree, went to 5 World Championships, won 8 medal overall and one gold! I have taught for 7 years starting when I was blue belt. I have been there more hours than in school for the 2 first years of my High School. A lot of hard work, but incredible trips around Europe (France, Scotland, Germany, Greece, Spain),East Canada and US and amazing memories makes me regret stopping it 2 years ago and getting back to it tomorrow.
Teach, Learn, Share
I really like to share all the kinds of thing my memory has been able to retain. Teaching and sharing is the best way of learning. While I taught karate, looking at everyone one I tried to teach how to close your hand to punch or how to stand while kicking made me understand the mechanics of it and all the questions that comes from the other person gives you a new or better perspective of the thing, and after some years of teaching, I could see that the forms that I taught more often where much better. I wanna share my experience to have people make me understand them.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Optimaly, when I will be able to host people, I will have a comfortable couch to sleep, stuff to eat for breakfast and more. I could show you things and the city if I still live in Québec, otherwise I'll have to wait a bit for that.
