Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I really, really want to take advantage of your hospitality. It's not because of the advantages in itself, but more about the pleasure of taking advantages of something, whatever it is.

... Ok, now that I've scared the more fearful ones away, we can talk !

What I'm looking for on Couchsurfing will change every month. However, this year, I wish I could travel in Spain (Barcelona) to concretely improve my spanish by meeting nice people whom could guide me through the real life and the good places-to-be : to sleep, to live, to eat, to have fun... ;)

This could prepare me for the next year. Indeed, I'll live one year in Barcelona to go to the Universitat Pompeu Fabra; where I'd like to make a research about migration's process. Accordingly I'm also openly enthusiastic to get informations about migrants' communities in this area ! By the way, the cost of the University is so high I couldn't pay for a housing. That's why I'll look after places where I can contribute in another way to offset this difficulty :)

To sum up, Couchsurfing will concretely help me for the 2 next years ! But I'm sure my project will result on many others...

Interests

Hey, it's not like I don't have personality, but I really can lose myself in others people's interests when they are very enthusiastics about it. Therefore, I'm totally open to discover new interests and, yes, it's important for you to know that...

This said, I really like to play and listen to music - wow, so original. I'm a drummer and I'm currently trying to play guitar. Depending on my mood, I can listen many music styles : political rap, hip-hop roots, reggae, metal, electroswing, cuban sound, etc. This way, I enjoy both big music festival and cosy jazzy jam session in a cellar.

I also really love learning to cook, particularly when linked to a more global healthcare point of view. So, if you like to teach new ingredients and to explain its impact on our bodies, I would be your student !

Just before talking about my drinking problems, I'd like you to know that if you hear about some social movements or any political struggle that take place in your area, I would be part of it !

Aarrghh. THE question which will make me look so boring. My music, movies and books styles depend on the context. But for some years now, a general tendency is drawn...

Actually, I like to read historical/political/sociologic books. F*ck me, right ? I also like to watch historical/political/sociologic movies and documentaries. Right ? I also like when rappers cleverly fuck the system. Ri... ?

Beside this, I like to read thriller/horror books from Maxime Chattam and, when going to the cinema, I like both the art film (film d'auteur) and blockbuster depending on my mood and the people I'm with.
