About Me
Hey 🙂
I’m Yasser, from Egypt. Just a chill guy who loves meeting new people and hearing about different cultures. Always down for a good convo, some laughs, and learning something new.
I’m married and a proud dad of three awesome (and energetic!) kids. Life’s busy, but I believe you can still make time for the things you love — whether that’s hanging out with family, having deep talks, or pretending I know how to surf 😄
I like talking about life, sharing ideas, and messing around in the kitchen (I cook with love… and Google 😅).
Not great at describing myself, but if you’ve made it this far — hey, nice to meet you 🙂
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I’m using Couchsurfing because I love meeting people and making friends from all over the world. I’m really interested in learning about different cultures and ways of life.
I also dream of traveling and discovering as many places as I can. For me, it’s not just about the destination — it’s about the people I meet and the experiences we share.
Couchsurfing events are a great way to enjoy life, learn from others, and take a break from everyday stress
Interests
I’m into connecting with people, helping others, and enjoying the outdoors. I love swimming, traveling, hiking, running, and hanging out with good company. I also enjoy going to events and making the most out of every moment
Music, Movies, and Books
When it comes to music, I’m a big fan of Omar Khairat — his music just hits different. I also enjoy the classic vibes of Frank Sinatra 🎶
As for movies, I’m into a mix! I love Arabic comedies, especially anything with Ahmed Helmy. On the English side, I’m into Twilight, Fast & Furious, The Transporter, My Best Friend’s Wedding, The Insider… and the list goes on 🍿
I don’t get much time to read, but when I do, it’s usually stuff related to engineering or management — trying to keep the brain running at least 😅
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I don’t have anything super amazing to brag about, but I do feel genuinely happy when I join events that help people in need. It’s the small things that make life meaningful, you know?
