Just a regular open-minded electrical engineer, which means kind of geek, obviously. I am into sports, especially cycling and winter sports. I spent almost a year as an exchange student at Aalto University in Espoo (my alma mater is Czech Technical University in Prague). After finishing my studies I left Prague to find a job in my home region. I am kinda happy here, always close to nature :-)

Warum ich bei Couchsurfing bin

I am not very social person, but I am trying my best to improve my social skills. I like meeting new people, sharing stories and experience, discovering different cultures, lifestyles and languages. I believe in karma - make good things and they will surely pay back. So if I can offer a couch, some good soul will offer a couch to me someday :-)

Interessen

I would say I am very active person, love sports - running, cycling, floorball, tennis, skiing. I am also fan of sports, especially ski jumping. On the other hand, I also love watching good movies, TV series and listening to music (preferably rock). Not so far ago I rediscovered the geocacher in me.

Music - Depeche Mode, The Killers, The Black Keys, Walk The Moon, Biting Elbows, blink-182, Oasis and many classic rock artists (Buddy Holly, CCR, Beatles, Jefferson Airplane, Cream, Blue Oyster Cult, Led Zeppelin, Genesis, The Doors).
Movies - directors Sergio Leone, Quentin Tarantino, Christopher Nolan, Stanley Kubrick. I also love Star Wars, since I watched Episode I as a child.
Books - Catch-22, All Quiet on the Western Front, Discworld, last years books from Warcraft universe.

Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe

Maybe not so amazing, but this Erasmus year in Finland is surely a great milestone for me.
And more crazy than amazing thing - once I hiked from my home to our cottage - really hot summer day (30 °C), military boots and more than 30 km in a beatiful landscape.
