About Me

Hi !
I'm Léonie, a French 23-years-old student, with a master for Teaching French as a Foreign Language.
It's my first experience as a couchsurfer, and I look forward to meet you !

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

The idea of sharing my culture, and a bit of my life in France is what's motivating me on being a couchsurfer. I'd rather stay with a person of the country I'm travelling in than stay in a hotel or a hostel. That's what I think everyone should be interested in, and what I am looking for.

Interests

I am interested in reading/writing, like, I read a looooot. I also do ballet and jazz dance, music (I play the piano).
And I can't go anywhere without my camera.

Music, Movies, and Books

My favorite movies and books would be The Lord of the Rings and Harry Potter (well, especially the books). I also love the whole work of a French author called Pierre Bottero. At the moment, I'm reading the Royal Assassin by Robin Hobb.
I am in love with the Studio Ghibli's movies.
I also like series a lot, such as Game of Thrones (that I read too), Dexter, Sherlock, Grey's Anatomy, Vikings, House of Cards...

My favorite band is Coldplay, but I also love Nina Nesbitt, Ed Sheeran, Fall out Boy, Paramore, Chet Faker, Fakear, Møme... I also like "old" songs and singers, like David Bowie, the Red Hot Chili Peppers, the Kinks... And I play the piano and I also dance, so I listen to classic and jazz a lot.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I spent a whole year as an Erasmus student in Bonn, Germany, and I would say that was one of the best times of my life !

Teach, Learn, Share

I am about to become a teacher of French as a foreign language, so I would really love to share my own culture and language, and also learn about yours.

What I Can Share with Hosts

My language, parts of my culture, and I would be happy to show him/her around !!
