My name is Jason and I'm 24 years old, I'm originally from Colombia where I have been working as an English teacher for the last 5 years.

I have been to England and Canada on my own , and if there's something I have learned is that, everything's is much better if there's people I can share moments with. I think making friends and getting to know people from all around the world is such an enriching experience.

I'm a very easy going guy, among the things I love to do are , play and listening to music , laughing , dancing , playing board games , having long but entertaining conversations with nice people , taking long walks , cooking and exchanging experiences and of course sharing what I've learned with the people around me.

I'm an animal and nature lover , so I love trees and what they represent as well every single living thing on earth.

I'm not a smoker but I don't get annoyed or anything by the people who do smoke, most of my friends smoke and I don't really care. I like wine specially while I'm having conversation or board games , did I mention I love board games?

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I joined this community for two main reasons , first of all , because it has always been my dream to travel around the world and I am just starting and this seems to be a very interesting , fun and affordable way to do it, and also because I consider it is a fantastic way to meet new people and make friends for life.

I like all kinds of music , but lately I've been a lot into 80's rock, R&b , pop and whatever that makes my spirit happy.

I love comedy movies , but also thrillers and drama films , my favorite ? Uhm I think for now it woul be "The holiday" with Cameron Diaz and Kate Winslet.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can share all the experiences I've lived in my country (Colombia) and how much it's chaged through out all these years , and the things I've learned from my international friends.

I'd love to teach Spanish ( which is my native tongue) and also some salsa dancing .
I really like cooking so if I'm allowed I can do my best to surprise you with a few recepies from different parts of the world.
