I am enthusiastic about the Natural World. I am trying to be present with Mother Earth as much as possible and to delight in the small Wonders of Life. You can find me most of the time wandering around in woods, mountains or other areas away from concrete buildings.
Furthermore, I am keen to be 'alive well' - it's important to foster our mental, emotional and physical well-being as well as our environment's well-being in today's fast-paced world.
Nothing is worse than being alone and going through things alone. So if you need a shoulder to cry on and an ear to listen, please feel free to drop me a message - even if we don't know each other yet and you think it's weird.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
When travelling I especially enjoy the company of inspiring people. I care more about connecting with all kind of people and experiencing the hospitality and culture in a unique way than the destination itself. I am looking for meaningful conversations with inspiring individuals and for shared happiness.
As the scholar Rumi said: "Do not feel lonely, the entire universe is inside you. Stop acting so small. You are the universe in ecstatic motion. Set your life on fire. Seek those who fan your flames."
I am seeking to connect with people who are passionate about life and who are aware of life's preciousness. I am seeking those who fuel my flames, and those whose flames I can fuel. As we are all the same, let's go beyond cultural, societal and personal boundaries and unite. We all are born as children of Mother Earth. Every one of us is just a little drop, but together as an ocean we can create so much beauty and love. Community and Friendship have a great power. Let's connect, let's fan each other's flames and let's create an everlasting bond with what is non-human - the more-than-human world - as well.
Having grown up in a dysfunctional family and experienced all sorts of mental suffering myself I feel the responsibility to reach out to the world. I feel the responsibility to equip today's youth with the skills needed for dealing with disturbing emotions and for dwelling in a peaceful state.
How can we create more compassionate youth cultures? How can we bring secular ethics into our daily life's? How can we equip today's youth - especially the ones at risk - with the skills needed to deal with their mental, emotional or physical suffering? How can we bring about profound change in our education systems - moving away from a very narrow to a more holistic education that prepares for the hardships of life? School equips us with a great variety of academic, scientific knowledge - but isn't the only knowledge that really matters how to grow your own food, how to cook, how to build your shelter and how to love? Unfortunately there's no space for ethical and emotional learning in traditional curriculums. We are left to find out ourselves how to deal with our emotional baggage. But we can change that when we unite and take advantage of our synergies!
If you resonate with above words, feel free to drop me a message. I am looking forward to extending my social circle around the world and to making meaningful connections. Let's inspire each other and let's fuel each other's flames for the betterment of the world!
Last but no to least, keep in mind that we can change our old, dysfunctional habits every moment and direct our life in a more positive direction. Life is a journey from B to D - from Birth to Death. What's in between B and D? It's a C, it's your Choice!

We all live in this world. Our hearts are beating as one. Our breaths are coming from the same air. Our skins are feeling the same sun. We all are born as children of Mother Earth, we are all the same. Every one of us is just a little drop, but together as an ocean we can create so much beauty and love.
”All elements in nature and all living beings are our friends and supporters if we know how to interact with them positively and with understanding and appreciation.” (Gyalwang Drukpa)
