About Me
Hi,
my name is Hanka, I live in Karviná, Czech republic.
I am in the final year of highschool and preparing for graduation and going to university.
I am a talkative person, (people say) funny, sometimes a bit sarcastic. I could describe myself as open-minded and open-hearted. I like warm and spontaneous personalities.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Simply, I fell in love with travelling and getting to know other countries, cultures, people.
In my opinion, travelling is as much fun as much it is important. Travelling makes people more respectful, more happy and also makes people question things, makes them want to find out more about the country they are travelling to.
Yeah, so, the reason is that a) I love travelling, and b) I don't want to be just one person in a crowd not knowing about the world.
Interests
I love reading books, sport (mainly swimming), I LOVE learning languages, learning new things and - sure - travelling. I am a volunteer for AFS Czech republic. And I also watch some tv series.

Music, Movies, and Books
About music, I like all kinds of music except D'n'b (or how it is written) and these crazy electric stuff. Not really my cup of tea. My favourite bands are Avantasia, Nightwish, Edguy and those metalish stuff. On the other hand, I love Glen Hansard, classical music, Ed Sheeran, Tomáš Klus (a Czech folk singer).
About movies: I don't watch them very often, I like books more. But of course I am not sitting with my book in a corner 24/7 (even if sometimes I would like to.)
Books: That is hard. Easiest thing to tell you is that I like fantasy books and books that makes you think, I try to avoid stupid stuff.
Last books I read were: The Anne Frank's diary, The book thief, The Joke (Milan Kundera).
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Right now, I can't really think about anything so amzing to be worth sharing. I'll work on it.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach about my culture, learn about your culture. We can share our language skills.
And we can share our amazing personalities one with the other.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Umm, I always make sure that when I visit someone I bring enough Czech beers. :)
