We are a young couple from Germany, who loves to travel and explore the world, while meeting new people and seeing other countries. There is no better way to increase the general knowledge and social competence than getting to know foreign cultures and conventions. Why I’m on Couchsurfing

We want to make new friends and meet locals, so we can get in contact with the culture und people.

Interests

Both of us enjoy hiking and bouldering (climbing without a rope, haven't had a chance yet to properly learn rope climbing, but it's on the to-do-list).
We just bought Kiteboarding gear which apparently is a big thing in Western Australia and after a couple of lessons we managed to feel the fun it makes when you actually manage to stay on the board :D

Music, Movies, and Books

Very stereotype Andi is into action movies while Christina prefers to watch some gooey romance. We are indeed having a hard time agreeing on a movie we both would like to watch...
And while Andi enjoys listening to all different kind of musics (depending on his mood) Christina is a big reader (of mostly gooey romances again).

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Booking a flight ticket to Australia! :D
Both of us finished university and didn't really feel like starting to run in that big hamsterwheel the working world seems to be. Therefor we booked a flight to Australia and got a working travel visa and off we went to enjoy ourselves and our lives before having to start "real work" sooner or later. So far it's one of the best things we have ever done and the year has only started.

Teach, Learn, Share

Andi is the cook in our relationship, so he will prepare some awesome and yummie meals for our hosts while Christina might bake a cake. Both of us are keen on learning new things and since there still are so many things, sports, hobbies and stuff we have never even heard about, we sure will be learning something every day.

What I Can Share with Hosts

We will be very happy to share food expenses or better even, cook for our hosts (Andi is a great cook!) and tell all the stories about our travels with a nice cold beer or a good wine or just some plain water, whatever suits you best.
