Hello! My name is Vanessa, I'm in my mid-twenty somethings so I'm trying to travel a lot more. Currently I live in NYC and totally loving it. I work with High School students and their families, assisting them in whatever they need.

Well I'm couch surfing because living in New York is not cheap and working at a public school does not pay well lol. I also want to travel a lot more and I have more opportunity to do so which is why I got an account here.

I've done some organizing work in different communities that I've lived in. I like movies, traveling and love to eat! I also love cats! I have a cat and I'm thinking about getting another one.

This is kind of hard. I go through many phases. Lately I have really been liking comic books. The one I'm really into is called Bitch Planet. I like all movies. The movie I usually watch when I'm traveling is Frozen (because its on my computer), but I like everything. For books I like anything with zombies in it.

Most of the jobs that I do have to do with helping others and supporting others. I'm hoping to go back to school for Public Health. I've started healing spaces for women of color and have facilitated groups for single mothers of color.

I feel like I always have a lot to learn from people. I am more of a listener than a talker. And I always try to help when I can, even if its something really small.

I'm pretty laid back and love to learn new things. I'm clean and respectful and treat other like I want to be treated. I love exploring and going to new places and I love being around people. I'm a Sagittarius (maybe that's helpful), love both cats and dogs and would say I am both and introvert and extrovert. I speak both Spanish and English fluently and the older I get the more I love kids!
