I am a dad and a partner and an independent spirit who increasingly understands interdependence. I teach/learn in the field of environmental education in the Great White North of Canada's Yukon Territory. And I am on the road of experience, constantly (or mostly) seeking to know what motivates humanity, what thoughts do we hold that hold us back or set us free, how can we/do we co-create lives in which we can all thrive, becoming fully alive and thus feel deeply contented. Plus I really like ice cream.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Just discovered this opportunity and I trust it will greatly, gracefully assisted me in connecting with like minded/hearted folks who can support my journeying.
Heading to Asheville, NC to take in an Abraham Hicks workshop, Nov. 21/22 this year of 2015. Would absolutely love to stay with someone(s) who would delight in sharing space with me and most importantly ...... delving into oxygenated deep discussions or passionately sharing really superficial ice cream cones. Both give me much that I adore.

Interests

Whatever makes my heart sing, and the hearts of others around me. Tremendously varied at any given moment......gentle people, soft cats, colorful flowers, exquisitely tasty food, excellent creamy textured ice cream, salsa dancing, humans singing, wild creatures showing their true selves, northern lights, taking down walls, building up bridges, grizzley bears, autumn, playing guitar, growing food, fresh cool clean water, vulnerability, canoeing, swimming naked, belly laughing out loud .....especially with others, nurturing life - especially where their has been fear, seeing the world through new eyes.....

Music, Movies, and Books

Yes, Abraham Hicks material and many others of this genre, saying much the same; seems we need to hear it many times in a diversity of ways. Favourite novel is The Fifth Sacred Thing; love the songs of the Weepies and yes, Ground Hog Days is still one of my all time favourites flicks. I have a greta many more favs.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Swam with wild stingrays, grown impossible gardens, co-created communities of collaboration/cooperation......the more beautiful world our hearts know is possible.Loved someone who was really scared and potentially violent, when I was scared too.

Teach, Learn, Share

It's what I do for a "living"; mostly in a canoe, on a wild river, in a quiet (where we can often best hear each other) part of the planet. My other craft is massage therapy, plus i'm trained in clinical counselling......but don't like offices.

What I Can Share with Hosts

A delight in adventure and and incredibly positive vision of where we are going, individually and collectively. Music, I love to sing. Chocolate, I love to tempt/treat my tastebuds and those of others. Stories of wild adventures, in wild places with wild people and wild creatures. By wild I mean revealing their true nature. Courage, passion, playfulness and integrity. Not always in that order.
