About Me

Aloha! I'm from Chile, South America, and I'm currently working as a music teacher in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, one of the biggest adventures of my life which is just starting...

I have met amazing people through this app so I truly believe in the beautiful community that Couchsurfing creates. I'm preparing my place to hopefully start hosting soon.

TRAVELLING AROUND TURKEY FROM OCTOBER 14TH TO 17TH 🇹🇷

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Because I think this is one of the most wonderful and real ways of travelling and connecting people from all around the world. A lot of people have helped me during my travels, and I hope to pay it forward when I host people in my home.

Interests

I am deeply interested in education.
Playing different musical instruments.

Music, Movies, and Books

I really like Chet Baker, Miles David and Jazz in general. But Traditional Folk music is my favorite by far! I think this kind of music shows the real soul of every culture!

About movies: Interstellar, all of the Studio Ghibli 's movies (specially Howls Moving Castl), Patch Adams, Whiplash, The Shawshank Redemption. I could watch those over and over again!

And finally books; The kite runner, The Little Prince and everything from the masters Jules Verne, Julio Cortazar and Herman Hesse. Currently reading "Covenant of Water" by Abraham Verghese. 📚

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've experienced several earthquakes because in my country, Chile, it's a very common thing and we are super used to it. The strongest one was 8.8 degrees on 2010.
