I'm living in a small village near Limburg. I work as a software engineer and like travelling, listening to metal music, going to concerts or having a drink at a pub with my friends.

I'm a calm person and a good listener - sometimes it will take some time until I get more talkative but I also have some nice stories to share :) I enjoy discussions about science, technology and philosophy, but of course I'm open-minded for other topics, too ;-)

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: I'm very open-minded for every kind of metal music, but I mostly listen to black-, pagan-, viking- and (melodic) death metal (e.g. Arch Enemy, Agalloch, Alcest, Be'lakor, Kampfar, Dark Tranquillity, Naglfar, Harakiri for the Sky, Moonsorrow, Windir, ...). I also like classical music and film scores.

Movies: Too much to list, but mostly some kind of horror-, comedy-, splatter-, zombie movies. And of course every kind of trashy shark movies ;-)

TV: Documentaries (Through the Wormhole, Cosmos: A Spacetime Odyssey, etc.), TopGear, Mythbusters, ...

Books: Mostly non-fiction books about engineering and science
