MOVIES: Days of Being Wild, The Act of Killing, 5 Centimeters per Second, Before Trilogy, Jules et Jim, Greenberg, Funny Ha Ha... I can go on, really. La Nouvelle Vague (ooh la la) and mumblecore are my specialty.

BOOKS: I have varied interests ranging from Filipiniana to graphic novels to contemporary fiction among others. To name a few: Bryan Lee O'Malley's Lost at Sea, Adam David's El Bimbo Variations, Jerry Spinelli's Stargirl, Jonathan Franzen's Strong Motion, Merlinda Bobis' Banana Heart Summer, et cetera et cetera.
