Overview
About Me
I'm a lay back girl trying to enjoy this life as much as I can creating good memories as I go and meeting awesome people along the way. I've never used CS before but I figured it's about time for me to get the courage to do so as it fits perfectly what I'm looking for.
I'm Venezuelan and I've been living in the US for three years, this country is so big and beautiful that I don't want to leave regretting that I didn't do enough to explore the most of it.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Because I want to solo travel without having to spend too much money. Besides, I believe it would be a good opportunity to get to know the area better with hosts and interact with interesting people. After all, I imagine you'd need to be pretty open-minded, flexible, curious and generous to host strangers in your home.
Interests
I grew up in the coast and a lot of my interests are linked to the sea. However, I find painting relaxing and at times challenging which I like, I am not a good painter but sometimes I come up with something not so bad that I can be proud of. Outdoor activities have been amazingly uplifting for me during this pandemic so I became an avid hiker. I've never been camping before and that's one of the things I really really really want to do so it's pretty high on my list of to dos.

Music, Movies, and Books
Music: Eclectic taste with a weak spot for indie music. Regina Specktor is love <3.
Movies: Midnight in Paris is by far the most beautiful, interesting, smart movie I've seen, at least it resonated strongly with me and I loved it for that.
Books: Anything Dostoyevski has written. 1Q84, Animal Farm, 1984, the Little Prince, are some of my favorites.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Being an exchange student in Finland for a year when I was 16.
Teach, Learn, Share
I love learning about different cultures, cuisines, customs, I am quite open minded and willing to try many different things. I can teach you how to make Arepas and how to eat them, easy-peasy!
