Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Every time I travel, even though if it is a couple days, I try to LIVE the moment
rather than chase tourist spots.

Thoroughly feeling the atmosphere, understanding and getting inspired by the new culture, view and thoughts of locals is what I prioritize when traveling.
That is why I was so happy to find CS (also Air BnB).
I am actually new to CS and am SO exited !
Can't wait to experience so much more!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

[in my Youth and Teenage life]
Made my first solo trip from USA to Korea at age 8
Sold hot snacks off the street in front of a neighboring high school
Filmed a short documentary with friends
Drove my motor scooter to the mountains, with all my ski equipment
Watched Matrix 1 to 3 straight in a row and confused real life for a couple days

[in my 20s]
Volunteered at a farm village for 3 weeks (and thought I had talent)
Volunteered as a local guide at several art festivals
Bicycled through Korea with no money
Served in the Air Force as an officer
Traveled to Jeju island in a military aircraft
Visited Africa and took photos with lions
Overcame acute hair loss
Escaped my flat from fire
Taught myself to cut my own hair
Brewed wine at home, also tried cognac but turned out to be a huge failure
Was threatened by an old lady aiming a rifle at me
Made a weekend trip to Ibiza
Walked hours in the desert of Kuwait
Started a small business with a few friends
Took four different international plane rides in 24 hours
Swam for hours in the Dead Sea and suffered severe skin allergy
