Overview
About Me
I would describe myself as a cheerful, positive person. And I'm honest to you if you are to me. ;-)
I have very high expectations on myself and regarding my studies I can sometimes become a little overambitious.
But I am not that hard to other people.
A friend once said to me: You are not like other girls that are often moody and start to argue about nonsense. You are uncomplicated like a boy and a great sport.
I like to see me like that.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I am planning a 4-month-trip through south america together with my boyfriend.
Well, not planning actually. We are trying to be spontaneous.
And I know that there is a big difference between visiting sites and getting to know a country.
So, I hope to meet with local people and other travelers to exchange our greatest adventures and experiences.
Interests
My favorite sport is basketball. I have been playing it for more than 8 years now. But I also enjoy water sports very much like swimming and surfing.
In my free time I like to share time with my friends, cooking something extraordinary having a beer, watching a movie together... just having a good time.
Music is also important to me. I play flute and a little guitar, I used to sing in a choir in school and I love to dance.

Music, Movies, and Books
The music I like to listen to depends on my mood and the situation. Sometimes I prefer classic music, then reggae music, then jazz, then rock... To me the music needs either a good rhythm or melody or it has to have funny lyrics.
I don't have favorite movie right now, it also depends on my mood. =)
And as to books. I have read some, but I am a slow reader and I often don't find time to read.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Once some friends and me rent a little cabin in Denmark close to the North Sea.
We were told that in these days some special algae were inside the water - glowing algae. We absolutely wanted to see that.
So we watched the sunset over the sea and waited till it was completely dark. It was cool and thousands of stars stood at the sky. It was scary to enter the black sea and freezing, but it was absolutely worth it. Because everywhere around us little glowing points lightened the water. I think they were activated by our movements. It was exhilirant, surreal and unforgettable.
Teach, Learn, Share
As I am studying material science I could probably help you out with the basics of math, physics and chemistry. Although I doubt you find interest in that.
I will be happy to teach you some german and proof you better regarding your german prejudices. (It is true that we separate our garbage and that we eat whole-grain bread of wooden boards twice the day =P )
What I Can Share with Hosts
Well, I think I am an acceptable cook... At least I like to cook and bake.
But especially, I hope to delight you with my company. ;-)
