About Me

Hi! My name is Elena and I'm 19. I was born in Rome, but actually I am Au Pair in Hannover, Germany (so I will meet people who come in Rome after August 2016, sorry).

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I heard about this site wandering on the NET, so, why not, I wanted a profile too!

Interests

My Passion is Cinema: I love watching movies both at home and at the cinema. I have also took part to the realization of a short movie that won some prizes. I love reading books too, romans in particular. Everything humanistic or artistic has my interest (I hate Mathematics and scientific stuff!). I spend the most of my money in books, but once a year I travel: until now I have visited a lot of European countries and Italian cities. I play volleyball, that's my fav sport.
My favourite season is Summer: even if in Rome it is really too hot, I like that feeling of freedom.

Music, Movies, and Books

My favourite films are Fight Club, Donnie Darko, Across the Universe and Se7en. I'm definitely in love with Game of Thrones, but I like American Horror Story too. I find The Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit really fashinating too.
My favorite books are Fahrenheit 451, Frankenstein, Il fasciocomunista, The Great Gatsby. I like comics too, in particular Naruto, Watchmen and Persepolis.
About music I like Linkin Park, Lana del Rey, Beatles, Queen and some Italian singers.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Left everything and came here in Germany for a year!

Teach, Learn, Share

I adore when people ask me to teach them Italian: it's not so common, so I'm really glad! Actually I live in Germany and I have to say that German is not so easy, but learning a new tongue makes me so fulfilled. At the Uni I would like to going on studying German and start studying Russian too.
Sometimes I feel scared about learning new things, but once done no one can stop me!

What I Can Share with Hosts

Unfortunately in Rome I still live with my family so I don't know if they agree in hosting someone, but I'd like to meet new people as well. Rome could be sometimes as interesting as chaotic for people who don't know it.
I may be a good part-time guide :)
